Converse has tapped designer and style trendsetter Don C to participate in a new collaboration, revitalizing the ’80s basketball sneaker, the ERX. Don chose to rework the old school silhouette because of his personal connection to the shoe, as well as his love for hoops.
The Just Don x Converse ERX boasts a 22-panel construction, featuring a white hair-on-hide pony hair upper and gold jewel Star Chevron and “DONS” logo, with the latter being a play on the “CONS” logo.
To complement the sneaker, the collab also includes Don C’s signature shorts in heavy cotton French terry, with a Just Don logo across the front, leopard print accents, satin stitching, and gold zippers, in addition to nylon track pants with full-length zippers running down the legs. Also presented are graphic T-shirts, a hoodie, hats, and a gym bag.
Don C’s Just Don x Converse collection is scheduled to arrive on November 24 at JUICE.
